During the two weekends of 13-14 and 27-28 January 2018, the EGCC will host the 47th edition of the Dutch Go Championships. In close cooperation with the Dutch Go Association, we organise a main Dutch Championship, accompanied by the Dutch Women's Championship and the Dutch Youth Championships.

From 2018 onwards, a new championship system with mutiple leagues of 16 players is implemented, allowing any go player with a Dutch passport or any go player that has been living in the Netherlands for at least 2 years to participate! So, if you live in the Netherlands and play go, come and join us for some serious games!

The Open Dutch Go Championships will see 7 rounds in total and takes place over two weekends. The top performers of the championship will earn the right to represent the Netherlands at the World Amateur Go Championship and the Korea Prime Minister Cup, both taking place in Asia.
The Dutch Women's Go Championship will be held over 5 rounds and will be organised in the second weekend, on 27 and 28 of January. At stake here is financial support by the Dutch Go Association to represent the Netherlands at the European Women's Go Championship in Helsinki, Finland (September 8-9).
The Dutch Youth Championships are played in three categories: Under 12, Under 16 and Under 20. They will all take place on Saturday 27th of January. The best youngsters will be rewarded tickets to the European Youth Go Championships in Kyiv, Ukraine (March 29-31).

Participation is the championships free for members of the Dutch Go Association. For non-members participation costs €30.
